Clamping beams, also called tensioning beams or partition wall locks, divide the cargo space to achieve positive-locking load securing. This allows for the easy transport and securing of a wide variety of goods. They are available in lightweight aluminum or, for a slightly heavier option, in steel. The tension between two points allows for high blocking forces to be achieved to secure the load.

Use of clamping beams

Mounted between the roof and vehicle floor, clamping beams allow for vertical installation, while horizontal installation between the sideboards enables this. This allows you to create flexible partitions and partition locks on the vehicle's loading platform that are easy to assemble and disassemble, perfectly suited to your cargo.

Combination of clamping beams with other load securing devices

In combined load securing systems, clamping bars and locking bars are used in conjunction with accessories such as lashing straps, tensioning straps, and anti-slip mats. Clamping bars are also frequently used in positive-locking load securing techniques. Lasiprofi clamping beam with square tube

The Lasiprofi series clamping bar, made of aluminum, features a blue round base and a 35 x 35 mm square steel tube. This aluminum clamping bar offers a wide adjustment range of 1,880–2,850 mm and a locking force of 200 daN. It provides high flexibility for load securing in trucks, trailers, vans, transporters, and containers, and is ideal for securing cargo in box bodies, trailers, and refrigerated vehicles. It can be mounted both horizontally and vertically.

SAM Profi clamping beam

The tension bars in this series are made of highly durable and lightweight aluminum tubing. The ergonomic operating lever facilitates opening and closing. This allows for repositioning of the aluminum clamping bar and locking bar within seconds. The rubber foot adapts flexibly to the surface and acts as a buffer against vibrations. These locking bars are particularly suitable for use in vans or Sprinters. This locking bar is available in the following versions and adjustment ranges:
