Lifting equipment for continuous use
Lifting slings are used in load securing for the safe lifting, carrying, and loading of heavy loads. As components of lifting technology, they are used, for example, as a connection between the hook of a crane (the lifting device) and the load. They are also used between a load-handling device (shackle, hook, clamp, lifting magnet) and the load to be lifted.
Lifting equipment such as:
- Lifting straps
- Round slings
- Wire ropes
- Lifting chains
- Endless ropes

Load handling devices
Connecting parts such as shackles, hooks, and clamps, as well as lifting slings and load-handling devices, are referred to as load-handling attachments. These components, however, are not part of the lifting equipment itself. Lifting equipment refers to devices that lift or move loads, such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts. The appropriate type of load-handling attachment for a given application depends on the nature of the load. Important factors include its size and shape, the surface finish, and the presence of attachment points.
Durable products for logistics and lifting technology
Lifting slings are an essential component of lifting technology and load securing . Without them, heavy loads often cannot be moved at all. Textile versions offer clear advantages over wire ropes and chains: they are significantly lighter, more flexible in terms of storage, and pose fewer risks to loading personnel. Furthermore, the permissible load capacity is always clearly identifiable thanks to the standardized color coding. Whether robust lifting straps with loops or the tried-and-tested round slings: anyone using them in their operations must always ensure that the products comply with the Machinery Directive and all applicable standards and regulations. We supply you exclusively with extremely high-quality, expertly crafted products that prove their worth day after day and are synonymous with reliability and durability. They comply with all applicable regulations and are, of course, suitable for continuous use. Don't entrust your heavy loads to just any product; choose genuine professional quality.
Standards and guidelines for lifting equipment
Lifting and moving loads poses a potential hazard to life and limb in everyday work. Therefore, lifting equipment must be designed to withstand the loads encountered at all times. This requires not only qualified personnel but also the correct dimensioning of all equipment components. A standardized color code indicates the load-bearing capacity, also known as the Working Load Limit (WLL) . According to European Directive 2006/42/EC , also known as the Machinery Directive , only lifting equipment that complies with the European Standard (EN) may be used. Furthermore, the influence of temperature on the maximum load capacity must be considered. For example, according to the regulations of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Construction Industry (BG Bau), fiber ropes and synthetic fiber lifting slings may not be used at temperatures below -40 °C or above +80 °C. The applicable guidelines for the specific area of operation must also be observed. Further information on proper load securing, such as regulations of the employers' liability insurance associations, is also available from the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) .
Our lifting slings: Quality class “Made in Germany”
Our lifting slings, which naturally comply with the European standards DIN EN 1492-1 and EN 1492-2 applicable to textile lifting equipment, are supplied in a two-layer design. These high-quality slings, made of impregnated and dimensionally stable polyester tubing, absorb very little moisture and therefore suffer minimal loss of strength. Their low weight significantly facilitates their use. Their elongation properties and high load-bearing capacities are also remarkable. A reinforced end loop on both sides protects against damage. Naturally, all slings feature the required color coding indicating their load capacity, as well as load-bearing capacity stripes and a safety label. These products are frost-resistant down to -40 °C and heat-resistant up to +100 °C.
Lifting slings for numerous applications in logistics
Our slings are available in various lengths, allowing them to be individually tailored to your specific needs. This lifting equipment accessory is available in our shop in usable lengths from 1 to 6 meters and with load capacities from 1,000 to 6,000 kilograms, depending on the model. Upon request, the slings can also be supplied with D-shaped shackle arms on both ends and with working load limits (WLL) of up to 10,000 kilograms. The sling widths range from 30 to 180 millimeters, depending on the model. Contact us by email or phone. Our trained and knowledgeable staff will be happy to advise you on selecting the slings best suited to your applications.
Round slings with optimal elongation properties
Round slings are suitable for lifting loads that lack fixed anchor points. Our slings naturally comply with the prescribed standards of DIN EN 1492-1 and -2 and all applicable safety requirements. They offer excellent elongation properties and are made of polyester with a polyurethane impregnation. The special weaving technique used in production guarantees high lateral stability and very good abrasion resistance. Thanks to the familiar color coding, which indicates the load capacity, and the printed maximum working load limit (WLL), confusion is virtually eliminated. In this shop, you can find slings with load capacities from 2000 to 6000 kilograms and, depending on the model, in lengths from 0.5 to 4 meters. Choose between our proven single-sheath or premium double-sheath quality. For price-conscious professionals, we have assembled round sling sets with various load capacities. Our products offer you the highest level of quality and safety in every case.
Reliable load-handling devices, for example for cranes, increase safety in lifting technology.
Load-bearing devices, according to the Machinery Directive, are structural or equipment components that enable the load to be gripped, i.e., they are attached between the lifting device and the load or to the load itself. These include, for example, grapples or buckets of excavators, but also hooks, clamps, or shackles. These components are needed, for instance, as connecting elements in crane loading gear or for extending ropes and chains. The high quality of our shackles is continuously verified through quality control procedures. They are characterized by the following quality features:
- Both the bracket and the bolt are made of high-strength steel.
- The bracket is hot-dip galvanized.
- The bolt is galvanised and painted.
- The forging tolerances are a maximum of approximately 3-6%.
- Safe operation is guaranteed at operating temperatures from -20°C to +200°C
For safe use, the load capacity and nominal size are permanently marked on the shackle. Our shackles are also available with a through bolt, nut, and cotter pin upon request.
