Regulations and information sheets for the use of lifting straps

The high-quality lifting slings available in our shop comply with all applicable standards and regulations. Of particular importance is the European standard DIN EN 1492-1 "Flat woven man-made fiber lifting slings for general purposes." This standard describes the situations in which these slings may be used, how they should be used, and how they should be properly maintained. Additional regulations and information sheets are also relevant for loading and transport personnel. One such regulation is DGUV Rule 500 2.8 "Operation of load-handling devices in lifting operations," issued by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), the umbrella organization for the statutory accident insurance institutions. DGUV Information 209-061 also provides information on the use, storage, and maintenance of these load securing devices.

Lifting slings with loops: for continuous use in all weather conditions

When it comes to securing heavy loads, lifting slings with loops are absolutely indispensable. However, they must be extremely high-quality and durable to ensure they do not pose a safety risk. Our two-layer versions are made of polyester multifilament yarn and impregnated with polyurethane (PU). They are manufactured to a high standard, allowing them to withstand continuous use in all weather conditions without any problems. The reinforced lifting loops reliably protect against damage. They are durable and hard-wearing and, of course, feature the required color coding to indicate the respective permissible load capacity. During production, the safety requirements of DIN EN 1492-1 were naturally taken into account, so that all necessary guidelines are met when used correctly. Furthermore, each lifting sling bears the CE marking and the GS mark.

The right lifting sling for many applications

Our high-quality lifting slings are available in this shop in the following versions: 1,000 kg working load limit (WLL), 30 mm webbing width; 2,000 kg, 60 mm; 3,000 kg, 90 mm; 4,000 kg, 170 mm; 6,000 kg, 180 mm. Versions with a maximum working load limit (WLL) of up to 10,000 kg are also available upon request. The standard usable length is 0.5 to 6 meters; custom lengths are also available upon request. We also offer our lifting slings with optional D-shaped hooks. This version is suitable for use on spreader beams or in series production where loop slings are subject to increased wear. These load securing devices are also available as disposable lifting slings in our shop. These are intended for single use only and are used, for example, in timber construction or the building of prefabricated houses.
