Airline rail for additional load securing
Airline rails Light are particularly well-suited for vehicle floors or walls and are retrofitted. Made of anodized aluminum, these rails are lightweight and ideal for securing loads in trucks, trailers, and vans. Their slim design allows for flexible application. Whether for retrofitting or as original equipment, they fit any loading platform and many attachments. They also offer flexible mounting options. Airline lashing rails can be attached with suitable adhesive, screws (M5), or rivets. Airline rails, available in half-round, corner, flat, or flange profiles, expand the lashing possibilities inside and on the vehicle.

Applications of airline tracks in load securing
Airline tracks are primarily used in transport vehicles such as trucks, vans, trailers, light commercial vehicles, caravans, motorhomes, station wagons, and vans to create lashing points for securing cargo. These tracks feature grid points into which fittings are inserted and secured. These fittings, in turn, have hooks, eyelets, or brackets through which, for example, lashing straps can be attached. The various aluminum lashing tracks can be mounted to the vehicle wall, floor, or ceiling. However, airline tracks also offer further installation options for private use, such as in the garden, workshop, or when converting a camper van.
Airline rails as crossbeams on the roof rack and bicycle carrier
Airline rails provide additional tie-down options for boxes, racks, or classic off-road equipment using straps. Solar panels can also be mounted with airline rails. For this purpose, we recommend semi-circular or rectangular tie-down rails made of anodized aluminum as crossbars for mounting on the roof rack. When mounting them to the vehicle body, ensure the drill holes are properly sealed to prevent water ingress. Adhesive can also be used to attach the various airline rail models. The mounting method may vary depending on the installation type.
Gluing airline tracks
The particularly lightweight design of the anodized aluminum airline tracks features adhesive channels on the back for applying glue. Before applying the adhesive, sand both surfaces and clean them thoroughly. When bonding, ensure you use a high-quality adhesive suitable for your specific material combination.
Accessories for airline tracks in the online shop for load securing
Cover profile and end piece for airline rails
If the square or semi-circular aluminum lashing rails are not in use, we recommend protecting them with a cover profile. Additionally, use end caps to ensure a clean finish to the rail. End caps and cover profiles are available in our shop to fit all models of our airline rails.
Fittings for airline rails
Fittings, using a lashing strap or tensioning strap, connect the attachment points of the airline track. The fittings are suitable for all grid spacings and lashing points of our lashing tracks.
Fittings and hardware for airline tracks
You can order fittings and hardware online from us in various designs: fittings with hooks, eyelets, or brackets. Pre-assembled versions of lashing or tensioning straps with ratchets are also available. In addition, you'll find fittings as connecting elements for add-on components such as shelves or built-in cabinets. With single stud or automotive fittings for airline tracks, you can achieve high load capacities. Depending on the model (double stud fitting, quattro stud fitting, quadruple fitting), load capacities of up to 2,000 daN are possible.
Locking bars for airline rails
For securing cargo in the vehicle, you will also find locking bars and load bars that allow you to divide the cargo space according to your needs. The bars can be used in airline tracks on the wall, ceiling, and floor.
