However, caution is always advised when securing loads, as adhesives shorten the lifespan of the PU-bonded rubber granules in the anti-slip mats. This ultimately causes the anti-slip mats to lose their effectiveness and necessitates premature replacement. Furthermore, it must be considered that, according to the VDI guideline and DIN EN 12195-2, an anti-slip mat must also be placed under the wooden beams. Securing loads with squared timber and wooden beams is therefore not only time-consuming, but also expensive and environmentally damaging due to the high consumption of anti-slip mats.
