Logistics in box vehicles
Box vehicles are very popular for transporting food, among other things. Both frozen goods and dry freight arrive safely at their destination. Refrigerated food is very sensitive and the insulated packaging must be protected and maintained at all costs. Minor damage can quickly interrupt the cold chain and often cause significant damage. Transport systems must therefore be developed in close cooperation with vehicle manufacturers to ensure that the insulation walls are not damaged during installation. That is why the systems we offer have been specially developed for box vehicles, so that your cargo arrives safely at its destination.
Securing roll containers
In the transport industry, securing roll containers is particularly important, as the mobile racks make loading and unloading much easier. However, they pose a safety risk during transport, as they are mounted on wheels and can roll in any direction. A special system with adjustable clamping levers in the side wall rails provides a simple solution: your roll containers can be secured to the side wall with just one hand movement. You can also use another system to secure roll containers and pallets: high-strength locking beams that can be flexibly adjusted to any load depth. The locking beams are firmly anchored to ceiling rails and can be moved back and forth in the cargo area. Despite their low weight, they still have a locking force of up to 2000 daN.
Additional loading levels in the cargo area
Some goods are difficult or impossible to stack. Loading space quickly becomes full with such cargo, and an additional trip must be planned due to lack of space. In our load securing shop, we offer a system that creates a new loading level in your estate car. The additional level is stored directly under the ceiling and therefore does not block any valuable storage space. However, if a new level is required, the panel can be pushed down in seconds and adjusted to the correct height with centimetre precision using a hole grid. There is also an optimal solution for transporting clothes, ensuring that your goods arrive at their destination unpacked and crease-free. You can quickly convert your box van into a rolling wardrobe by hanging support tubes vertically or horizontally on keyhole rails. This allows you to use every centimetre of your cargo space. Please call us if you have any questions about the optimal load securing of your goods. We will be happy to advise you and work with you to find the right system for your needs. You can also find information on the correct load securing in tarpaulin vehicles and special superstructures in our guide.
