Nets for securing loads are a tried and tested option, especially for flatbed trucks, which are often used by tradespeople. There are three types of load securing nets: light and heavy nets, and nets used as partitions. All variants have their merits and should only be used for their respective areas of application. Lightweight nets are used exclusively for loose and light goods and serve to prevent loose parts from being blown off the loading area.

Heavy nets are different; they can also be used for bulky, angular or sharp-edged loads. Separation nets are not placed directly over the load, but separate the loads from each other or prevent them from becoming dangerous projectiles in the event of emergency braking, for example. However, this only applies to very light loads.
