The load must not only be secured, but also distributed across the loading area in such a way that the operational safety of the vehicle is guaranteed. This is achieved using the load distribution plan (LDP), which is specific to each vehicle. Compliance with the LDP ensures that the permissible front and rear axle loads, the permissible minimum steering axle load and the permissible total weight are adhered to.
